Secretum Cista Finished!!! Update #10

Finished at Last!

What a Journey!

Hello everyone!
I'm happy to announce that I've now finished the Secretum Cista puzzle chests! It was a much longer road than I had anticipated it to be, but I think it will be my Magnum Opus for years to come. I've learned so much from building these chests that it was worth the extra time to me. I feel like I have a much better grasp on fine woodworking now!

I have been getting a bit of help from a friend, Josh, and two younger brothers. My brother Kevin is becoming the video expert and he does most of the editing on my production videos now(check out the links below). Jon(brother) and Josh have really been a big help in keeping the Jack in the Box production moving. Having people help me make the puzzles is something I'll have to get used to. It's hard to know when to show someone exactly how a task should be done and when to just let them figure it out by making the mistakes themselves.
At least the puzzles are still moving through the shop and I can focus the majority of my time on the puzzle chests.

I exchanged one of the new puzzles with Eric Fuller and while I haven't received his Multiball puzzle yet, he seemed fairly impressed with Jack in the Box; "one of the better ones I've seen in a while". He also gave me a few good tips on how to make the design better and faster, which was great!

My older brother Michael and I started an entrepreneur podcast after we had started calling each other with updates and visions of our businesses. It's a far cry from a great podcast right now, but we did want to document our journey and possibly help a few other startups along the way.

Please let me know if you're interested in getting a puzzle chest before I order materials for the final edition.

Thanks for reading and expect a new update on all things puzzle coming soon!
-Jesse
